<p>me too! just found out this morning. it was very anti-climactic cause i didnt even know what i was reading until i scanned the first line haha. got into newhouse as well</p>
<p>I'm really surprised I got in. I felt my app wasn't done as strongly as it could have been, and from my understanding Newhouse is very difficult to get into. I also checked the box saying, "Do not consider me for any other colleges."</p>

SATS: Verbal: 640 Math: 660 Writing: 700
total 2000
GPA: 3.7 uw/4.2 w
EC's: Editor in Chief of paper, Key Club, NHS, ASB
Recs: gave up my right to view them, but I'm assuming one very good, one goodish, and the counselor rec. good
Essays: Personal statement was very personal. I felt my common app supplements were weak.</p>

i have aprox a 3.75 from my current university- thats including all the credits i took over the summer
also i'm taking this year off to work with the non-profit invisible children and touring around the country to tell people about the war in northern uganda. i did an internship at a congressman's office over the summer but totally forgot to mention that in my app. lame. ive completed 74 hours in one year (summers included)
i also started the young dems at my school and was involved with student government.</p>
