<p>Yeah, I couldn't imagen attending a school that wouldn't let me enroll during fall. I just find that horrible.</p>

<p>it's not strange. Maryland does this all the time. i know a lot of people who got spring semester this year also.</p>
<p>for the most part, UMD expects you to enroll in a community college for the semester. i don't think they will revoke your admission if you just sit around at home, but it's probably not a good idea.</p>
<p>trust me, you're not the only one. i knew literally dozens of kids from my school who got in for spring at UMD. they just went to a CC for a first semester to maintain their education, and then went on to Maryland like every other student. once you're on campus nobody will know/care.</p>
