<p>Congrats, db. I was there while the assistant photo editors were picking the applicants. The photo section gets the MOST applicants out of all the sections, and they were being hella harsh, dropping applicants like flies. You should have been there, listening to them. You would have cried.</p>

<p>Haha, listening to any of the comments while they were picking people/going through applicants was absolutely hilarious. The office was full of awesome eavesdropping all week.</p>

<p>Jey, you can apply every quarter. Try for winter. I did that my freshman year, and I still wish I had applied fall quarter.</p>

<p>I cross-trained for graphics reporting today. During our lunch break, Rubio’s and Panda’s lines were UG-LAY. So I got a ****ING TWELVE-DOLLAR LUNCH AT KERCKHOFF </p>

<p>i had organic food today. pretty disappoined with the 7 dollar sandwich.</p>
<p>i calculated that my dinner today (home-cooked pasta and sauce from a jar), plus my cran-grape juice, cost me under $2 ;)</p>
<p>just curious, are these internships at the daily bruin paid? and how competitive is it to get in?</p>
<p>Not until you become an editor or something. It’s pretty competitive depending on the section. Photo is damn competitive.</p>
