I got in today!!!

Man, I am so excited! Opened up my mailbox this morning, to find a thick, massive envelope from Wellesley. "If they reject me after sending me a huge thing like this, I will RAWR!" I remember thinking. But I'm in!

I really didn't expect it, since I was a "possible" for ee, and I'm a typical white kid from the mass 'burbs. I don't know where I'm going yet.

2/2 schools so far. Good luck to you all as you're getting your letters!

Ooh, congratulations!
Packets are so exciting.
I got a likely EE..so I hope I receive something good soon!
I got a poster today which made me happy.

Congrats for getting in!!! I got a 'possible' EE as well, so it must have been a very pleasant surprise!! I'm on the west coast so I will most likely get my letter on Monday...what a nerve-wrecking process.

Awww, congratulations! I'm glad the nervewrackingness of the "possible" letter is now history! :-)

woohoo!! congrats ;)
i didn't even know wellesley was sending out decisions this early... good to know, haha...

didnt get anything in the mail from any schools today...hope i'll get my big fat envelope on monday!!!

(was it regular mail?)

Congratulations!!

i want my mail to come.

i meant "nerve wracking" not wrecking. dumb mistake, i felt the need to correct myself. haha

After a certain point, you could mean both :)

oooo!!! being in texas i expect to get something on monday... hopefully something big!!!

Haha yeah I got a likely EE but I still couldn't wait for the official letter so I emailed an admissions officer and she told me that they would be sending them last friday. So I was expecting the letter yesterday.

Is Wellesley the first choice for any of you?

OH man, it's so nerve-wrecking now! Wellesley is one of my "first" choices; I really really really want to go there!

My daughter , an "ee - likely", got her official acceptance letter and financial aid package today. She, my husband and I are all very excited and happy. Somehow the official letter feels more secure, and the financial aid package is good enough that my daughter can attend Wellesley. We live in Michigan. Good luck to all of you who are waiting for your letters.

yay, i got in too, and they're flying me to open campus!

wishabee - question - Is Wellesly paying for your plane fare to go to the open campus days??

I applied but they rejected me after just a few days. Probably because I'm a guy.

Gender discrimination! Are you going to sue?

lol nicely done jkbcman. I keep checking my mail... people around my area heard yesterday I REALLY hope I hear today!

new/old mom: yep :D

AAAAAAAAAH!

Package from Wellesley today. Accepted, la dee dah, congratulations, la dee dah...Expected Parental Contribution: $28k. They must be effing joking. There's no way on earth my parents can pay $28,000 a year for college, unless we starve and/or I kill one of my brothers. Bleepity, bleepity, bleeping Wellesley. I feel like throwing something. I think I will.

Hey all, i am not myself though now. umh--i am a Canadian girl that is why sometimes stings being reached to my heart. Congret to all who accpeted this month. I hope i will receive my fat E from W on the first day of April, LOL...... a poor, and foolish girl, myself. lol
