I Got In With A Scholarship, But...

ok so i received my acceptance letter this afternoon along w/ a $40,000 Trustee Merit scholarship!!
which i'm thrilled about......but....
i applied to rice interim, and i think i was a really strong applicant b/c i was valedictorian, i'm hispanic, and i'm really involved in various activities, etc.

but first semester of senior year i made 3 b's, lowering my gpa. rice didn't see them because of the interim decision plan.
and in my scholarship an admissions letter, it was mentioned that i was expected to receive the same grades i had made up to the point i applied there.
this semester it's expected that i'll make 3 b's again.

i know i sound paranoid, but i'm afraid i might lose my scholarship! any imput? do a couple b's really matter in the long run if i'm already in??

thanks guys..

yea..um bump.

I don't know for sure, but I doubt that they'll take away your scholarship just for some B's.

No, they won't take away your scholarship for getting three b's. That being said, I don't think you should test their limits. Try really hard to get straight a's second semester.

You should be fine - but I wouldn't suggest dipping below a B!

I agree with the people above, and also: CONGRATS!!! =D

omG totally: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAY!

i wish i were smart enough to get a merit scholarship.

yeah, CONGRATS!!!!

Don't worry, just keep your grades up this semester

(I'm just lucky I got in)
