Thanks All! I'm heading to Princeton on Tuesday with a large basket of cookies for the whole adcom. I feel like they took a risk on me, and I am just SO grateful for them doing so.

and for whoever asked...

My rank was awful, and I didn't think I'd get in anywhere. I got a 84 in AP Chemistry, an 85 in AP Bio. It's really unbelievable. I think I might have got an 80 in math one year too. But they didn't care! They were accepting of MY personality and the way I learn, and I can't wait to get there and reward them by contributing in every way I can. Future President of College Democrats right here!

Oh I also sent in many extra recs. One from my Congressman who I interned with for 4 years, and an article about how I secured 1.3 million in veterans benefits. I had my principal write an extra rec. I had an AMAZING interview, I'm about to call him

Everything just worked! And I need to THANK ALL OF YOU!

I remember back in September I said, "I'm really more of a Princeton guy." and someone said, so why not apply there ED? I thought it was a crazy notion, but I did it, and now I am the happiest man alive.

Ilcapo:
Just a few days ago, you were worried about your ever expanding list of colleges. One of the best things about being in is that you can ditch the whole list and assorted materials.

Ilcapo, so happy for you! Congratulations! Princeton is going to be even better than you are now imagining...

Hey! where's our cookies? Send us some cybercookies!

haha e-cookies for all! i'm so excited to go there and thank the whole adcom...hah im such a loser they will probably think im a deranged senior stalking them. mwahha

i have 18 sleeves of slides sitting before me, ready to be labeled. i think i must have spent 300 dollars getting them ready for all my colleges. what do i do with them now?!? i'll save em for grad school?? heh im so happy!

WOOT WOOT Ilcalpo. ^5

And thank goodness because your list was getting out of hand:) How ironic: you started out bucking the whole "elitism" of the Ivies and wound up of Princeton. I'm very happy for you.

Now telll us where we should mail our collaborative bill for all of the great counseling we gave you

:) :) :)

Wooo hooo!! Sooooo pleased for you ilcapo. The AGONY that went into that app process. Maybe chocolate kisses would be more appropriate for the adcoms??!! :)

You're in for a big adventure!

hah im not leaving yet...you can expect me around here for weeks to come...

i wouldn't be surprised if you all chose my freshman seminar! ehhehe

Ilcapo, If it's not too late, you can now write that recommendation for your friend without any negative feelings. Good luck.
