themockery, no, i didn't apply for theatre. I applied for Film Production and also Critical Studies (second choice). I also applied by Dec. 10, so I was curious if it was certain majors, or what. I guess I'll just have to be patient..it's so hard! :} Thank you.

did anybody who applied to the school of engineering under the 10th dec deadline get in as yet?

I applied online on January 5 to the college of arts and science as a Political Science major. Does anyone have an idea of when I will get a decision on my application?

I applied before the 10th of Dec. and have been accepted to Annenberg for Broadcast Journalism (and the University itself)...but I have yet to hear from the film school (they don't send out acceptances until April...according to their website). Good luck everyone!

I was accepted (as I said in an earlier post) roughly a month after applying...HOWEVER, I talked to my college counselor today and she said that it is very very rare (she had only seen it one other time in 20 yrs...) to hear back this quickly from USC...Therefore, do NOT freak out if you havent heard...it means nothing (except that you havent been accepted YET...)

hey bruno, i applied dec 6th (rhp deadline) and got into biomedical engineering.

Did anyone apply to the architecture school?

Hey admittees, congratulations. Getting into USC these days, despite what some will tell you, is no small thing.

hi wobneb! i got accepted too with biomedical engineering as my major and i'm a finalist for the prez scholarship. how good d'u think usc is in biomed?

I second bruno's question on USC's strength in BME...

Hey wobneb! I was accepted to BME also...must be a major they are looking for...

Congratulations you guys! USC is an amazing school, and getting tougher and tougher each year to gain acceptance. I know that looking back, although I was in the top 3% my class, I was very lucky to get in. I hope you guys that want to get in, get in, and those that get in and don't have SC at the top of their list, look into the school some more. It really has the perfect college experience for you, and it's just getting better.

I'm here if anyone has any questions about whatever.

Did anyone who applied to engineering receive a decision yet?

Yep...I know of three of us that were accepted BME...

hey fellow bme acceptees. i'm really not sure where it ranks, but i know their engineering department is growing, so i'm pretty hopeful. i'm premed and not really looking to go into the engineering field, but i know the graduate school is really climbing the ladder. ranked 6th i believe. they must be looking at bme majors because somehow i'm a trustee scholarship finalist. so exciting. do you want to do an emphasis like electrical, mechanical, chemical? i don't know yet (and i don't think its imperative at this point, since they all start out with the bme core)

USChicka - NO if its not on the top, let them decline, so they can accept me... LOL

uschicka, would you happen to know what they ask in the interview for the presidential and trustee scholarships? i dont think it'll be the same as an alumni interview.

lol, excuse me bozenuts, what was I THINKING? :)

bruno- sorry, I don't know what they'd ask in the interview. I didn't even have a regular interview when applying here, so I'm completely in the dark. Sorry that I'm no help at all.

I want to major in BME and possibly go to medical school
