<p>I'm a first generation student. My parents immigrated here from France, and don't speak English very well. My parents immigrated here because of family problems in France. That was the topic of my essay. I do not wish to expand much further upon it, since it's a personal family story.</p>
<p>(I also wrote that I wanted to major in Comparative Literature: English/French and I'd love to take up German.)</p>
