Same here. California.

how difficult is it to get into Williams in comparision to other schools of its caliber, such as Dartmouth and Amherst?

I have seen many Dartmouth acceptances along with Williams on the board. I guess the same can be said about Amherst.

i say very similar with dartmouth, amherst, columbia... Williams is definitely harder than Columbia SEAS. slightly harder than cornell and UPenn Engin/CAS.

note that the comparisons were made by my personal experiences with various friends/relatives/couselors. Don't flame me. ;)

i also applied to dartmouth, amherst, upenn and harvard. What does my Williams College acceptance say about my chances at these schools come april 1st?

j2k5....Since you are an early write I would say that you have an excellent shot at all of them.
Keep in mind that all these schools are looking to fill certain spots with students with specific talents. It is possible for instance that Amherst might have done so already. My son's friend who got into Harvard RD last spring was waitlisted at Amherst and rejected by Princeton. So it all depends on what slot they have to fill.

me too! I am still in shock actually. :)

Were those of you who've recieved packages RD apps?
