Yes, you need to get into LSA first.

Jumpman: Congratulations! If I were in your spot, I would accept it. I have almost identical stats as you. How were your ec's? Are you a minority? You give me hope.

Congrats Jumpman!

I have lost my hope to be accepted into Stern. My stats were similar to yours. Would be nice to be referred to GSP.

Also did you play sports? As many have said that they refer many athletes to GSP.

I haven't received any GSP letter yet. I just checked the mail now. Does that mean I most probably didnt get into GSP, and now will either be accepted or rejected?

My Stats are:

SAT 1: 700 M, 680 CR, 680 Writing
SAT II: MathII: 780, Chem: 580 (ugh..)
GPA UW: 3.5, dont know weighted GPA

Plan to major in applied math
Won 1st place in a county science fair
Good Teacher recommendations

So I am probably rejected..

if u applied to CAS I say ur in...w/ those stats I don't see how u can't have a positive outlook...or maybe ur just bragging who knows

But who knows, NYU is so unpredictable. I had very similar stats to feeltheforce and they put me in GSP.

this sort of unpredictability gives me that little glimmer of hope

but have all the GSP letters been sent out yet for CAS?

Thanks

Yea they have. Or at least I am pretty sure they have. If you havent received one yet, I would say ur in. I doubt that they would reject you.
