UCI is freaken fast..!!

Sure wish Davis results would leak out soon. I've already started apartment hunting, but it's all a moot point if i don't get in...

Congrats innes

Gosh. So fast

as for early in, early out, i applied in mid. november and updated late january.

altho i live in irvine, so maybe i'm a hometown favorite.

@subzero:

No W's on my transcript.

so do you only need to check the website to find out whether or not they have admitted u?

Yea, that's how I first found out. The letter in the mail should be arriving shortly, I assume.

I also got into UCI!

Found out at 7am on 2/15 by email.

You'll get an email saying your application status has changed, then just check your myadmissions app and you'll be greeted with "You have been admitted to UC Irvine!"

For anyone that wants to know my GPA is a dismal 3.06. Major is english.

When did you submit your application? (including update)

Submitted Nov. 29 and updated Jan. 9.

^^ That proves the process to be completely random. There's no telling when people will receive their notice. Could be tomorrow could be two months from now.

Well they can't really start admitting students until the update is read so it does not really matter when your first submission is. He updated his application pretty early so maybe it is not so random. I however hope it is since I submitted my applications fairly late.

I submitted Nov. 30 and updated Jan. 9 but haven't seen anything yet. It might be by major? I'm a Theater transfer.

I submitted about a day after it was open, but kept resubmitting it like every week :o

Random?? He submitted his update January 9th! Thats early, and that is why he got his decision fast. If you did both late (initial app, and update) it will probably take longer. Obviously it all depends on majors and everything else too. But usually if you did one of the things earlier than most people in you major at your specific campus, you'll probably get the decision back faster, from my experience.

If you read through the whole topic, then you'll know that someone else who applied late got their acceptance letter early as well. It is random.

i think they start looking at the ones that have their prereqs done.

If you submitted FAFSA, when did you submit it? Or did you get your decisions without any mention of federal financial aid?

Didn't submit FAFSA. No mention of it either.

woot i just got in~

got an email stating my application status has changed
