I'm actually surprised..
First I thought international students had a low chance, and also I got into Chemistry my first choice major.

here are my stats

1820 SAT
GPA 3.8-3.9 somewhere between dhere

No athletics AT ALL

some community service........
and I still got in?!

also the 10% rule.......should've shunned out a lot of OOS + intl applicants...

so yea i must be really lucky

Congratulations! We were happy that our OOS son got in, also.

Work hard, and you’ll do well!

ML, have you ruled out WashU?

Go check it out, so as an international student do you plan on going home during holidays ?

Congratulations!

Hopefully I’m also that lucky. (I’m in state and in top 8% so hopefully I won’t have too many problems)

pixie, Wash U is my son’s first choice, but I don’t think we can afford it. We’re going to talk to the FA people there to see if they can give him any more money, but that’s a long shot. I know he would be very happy at Texas, anyway.

Nice Job! There is obviously something about you they really liked. Essays or something perhaps?
