I Got My Likely (acceptance) Letter!

Hey all,
Yep, that's right. I got it today. It says that last year, fewer than 100 out of 19,700 applicants got one. YAY!! I just have to keep my grades up. WOO HOO!!!

Nice, congratulations!

I assume you mean a likely letter, right?

drdomuch - first of all, CONGRATS! that's so awesome :)

but for the rest of us who are still waiting to hear, would you mind posting some of your stats, etc. and why you think you received a likely letter?

thanks :)

youre a liar, they dont send those till middle of february

someone else was posting about their "likely letter" too, don't believe them

well I got my acceptance letter in December so there!

just kidding, congrats, you must be so special

woah ethioman. so harsh on the eyes, dude. chilllllllllllllll

ethioman is hating. He should be happy a fellow Afro-American male is going places (Mr. "I'm black...will I get in?") Anyway, I think I got in because I've been taking college courses since I was 12 and I took AP Calculus AB and AP Physics in 9th grade and AP Calculus BC and AP Chemistry in the 10th. Got 5's on all. I skipped the 11th grade and am Val of my new class. For those of you who don't believe me, you'll see in April 1st that you'll get a blue "Yale College Programs of Study" book and a blue folder with a bulldogg on it with your letter. Thanks for the congrats. WOO HOO!

I think you are one of these people who don't even need ECs to get in because you are so academically qualified (although you may very well have great activites as well). Congratulations!

So, IF we're supposed to get a likely letter, should we be expecting it to get it during this month and early February?

I heard someone got their letter earlier this week. I've also heard that they will continue to send them through February, but only the Admissions Office could say for sure. Ya Know

would the admissions office send out likely letters to international applicants as well?

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<3 chidimma

I've heard they always come out in batches.

oh and a big congratulations, that's quite an accomplishment

how are all u getting ur likely letters so soon? ive been checking my mail everyday for the past few weeks, and i still havent gotten mine...u think there's been some sort of mistake? :p

this is bs. they dont send till feb

congrats! see you at bulldog days then :)

James

where does it explicity say that they dont send out a single letter until february? where is everyone getting that info?

it's not true that you don't get them until february...you can get them in december and january even for RD (my friend did two years ago)
