Strawboy:Your agenda is to try to seem superior by putting Duke down... it looks like you chose Dartmouth over Duke. Deal with it! Dartmouth and Duke are both great schools.. neither school has "superior students". Enjoy your four years there..

You don't know yet if Duke's yield is "mad low", Duke was accepting people off the waitlist this early last year.. and even then it's yield wasn't mad low.. I think it went down from 41% to 40% or something crazy like that, lol..

Congratulations, Strawboy, and I hope you're happy with your decision. Dartmouth is a fine choice -- why visit a board of a school you allegedly turned down to talk trash?

Anyway, have fun in Hanover...

A quick look at some of the other boards -- including Penn and Cornell -- suggest they're admitting off their waitlists too.

I heard about an hour ago via telephone call. They said a formal letter and fin aid package is coming. Now I have to decide between Duke and Tufts, where I was pretty damn excited to attend. I'll have to visit Durham this weekend. Just wow.

I applied to pratt, and she specifically mentioned spots available in the college of engineering. I don't know if trinity is using the waitlist.

oh wow!! i received a phone call today! it was amazing! i was having such a bad day and then the phone rang! and i didn't even send any updates. oh, i applied to trinity and for those who are still waiting, DON'T LOSE HOPE!
