I failed my AP-CALC class not because I didnt put any effort.. Im just not a good math student.

Well, i got accepted to NYU two weeks ago for my early decision.

Will they rescind my adssion for getting F in AP-CALC? which is generally said to be the toughest AP course? lol..

I super depressed right now. some people in CC say that you will have to get straight D's or F's and have a crime record in order to get revoked... some people say that a single D or F will kill you........I'm confused a bit.

Does your school not have grade recovery for those who have made grades lower than a D, to be able to raise their grade to a C? I live in Florida so it might be different where you live

you really need to be on the phone with admissions at NYU instead of spending time posting here. Failing a class is a serious thing in the eyes of colleges, and is sufficient grounds to be revoked at many schools. The thing on your side is it not even January; If the F is going to make a difference then NYU may be able to suggest some alternatives such as a summer class or a class at a CC to make it up.

One thing that won’t help is just doing nothing. For one thing, almost every college has a paragraph in its application and admission letters that says something like “notify us promptly of any changes in your schedule, if you get a grade lower than C, etc”. And they will see this grade, eventually. Its to your benefit to face it now when there may be alternatives (including applying to other colleges if NYU says goodbye).
