I got one non-transferable course with low grade.

I am Community College student.

I really need you guys help… I got one non-tranferable course with low grade.

but, if I calculate only the transferable courses I am getting a 4.0 so far.

I took one non-transferable course which I didn’t really have to take. first, I thought I need that course for the transfer. so I visit counselor office right away to discuss it. and she said “University won’t include non-transferable grade as an overall grade. it’s only if you are going to get AA degree” and for clarifying, I also ask to every each university and they said “overall GPA of admitted students includes only transferable courses. and the grade you got in non-transferable course will not necessarily determine your admission decision but it will be something that we see”

but I still feel uncomfortable with low grade. I am desperate for any suggestion you guys can offer on how to remove the low grades from college. if it’s possible.

It will not vanish.

Where are you planning to apply for transfer to? What major?

thx for reply. I don’t really worry too much about getting in because the portfolio is more important.
my point is I took something unnecessary course and I don’t want that affects my college GPA, even if it won’t count.
I just don’t want to look at it lol
that’s why I’m trying to devise some expedient method to vanish my low grade. “even If the rule says No”

There is NO WAY to remove the C grade from your community college record.

You must live with the consequences of your grades and your conscience as to what you tell your acquaintances.

University doesn’t care about AA credits it’s just something they will look. they only care about transferable courses, so I don’t actually worry about my GPA. I think there is nothing wrong, even if I mention only transferable GPA because my goal is transfer to University instead of getting an AA degree. thank you.
