I got this email from Emory yesterday...

<p>that basically said, "Congratulations on being accepted to attend the Atlanta Campus of Emory University. Our records show that you have been accepted....blah blah blah." It basically explained living communities, housing, and meal plans.</p>

<p>Unfortunately...I was waitlisted, but I accepted my spot on the waitlist a couple of weeks back.</p>

<p>Is this legit? did they mistakenly send out acceptances (for waities) earlier than usual, or did they just screw up?</p>

<p>I want to be happy, but this all could be a mere mess-up. That would suck.</p>

<p>check your opus account and see if you have a Congrats letter posted. If not, e-mail your regional rep.</p>

<p>It’s really sketchy. But I’m staying optimistic. In any case, I still have to put down a deposit somewhere before I am officially accepted off the waitlist.</p>

<p>To add, I’ve been bombarded daily by e-mails from the financial aid office. But that’s just a formality.</p>

<p>did you find out if it was for real? It’s late April, and i’m suprised we haven’t even gotten emails about the waitlist because i was told that is when they start accepting people. at least i haven’t. my last one was on the 13th.</p>

<p>Sesquipedalian have they emailed or called you? my S got the same email but then another taking the first one back (oops). Did not they say that they would call individuals if they got off the waitlist?</p>
