I got waitlisted to almost all of my reach schools...Any shot at Cornell?

<p>I got rejected from Duke's Pratt of Engineering.</p>

<p>And Waitlist from:
University of Virginia's Engineering School
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering
Carnegie Mellon CIT</p>

<p>With all of these waitlists...is there any shot of me getting accept to Cornell? I want to get in at least one of my reach schools...</p>

<p>um… all i can say is i was waitlisted at duke(like my dream school since kindergarten) and i feel colleges are ■■■■■■■■ cause you sound a boatload better than me</p>

<p>the reason is partly because you are asian. Most competitive race when it comes to engineering. Don’t lose all hope…you still have an outside shot :)</p>

<p>Colleges are unpredictable! I think you should be okay for Cornell, Good luck!</p>

and you play a musical instrument…
and your rank is good…</p>
