I guess Tech Support was too busy partying last night...

I, like many other people before me, accidentally entered an occupation in the legal guardian section of the app. Now, the app inspector tells me I can't send this because this imaginary person needs to have a name, college, etc. and deleting the field is not an option. I emailed tech support last night, but I guess they were out having a good time.

Should I:
a) make up a legal guardian (Dr. Fake McFakerson) and send it anyway?
or
b) wait for tech support to get back to me with a Jan. 1 deadline dangling over my head?

Hahaha. I’m sorry, but that’s almost as funny as the person who accidentally put they had gay parents (Two “Mrs.”)
You’re not able to just delete whatever you wrote in the “occupation” field?

Nah, I’ve tried everything.
“Healthcare support worker, other” ain’t budging.

Ugh the Common Application is horrible!
I would just type in a fake name and mention it in your “additional info” section.

What a logical thing to do!

Now I just need to think of an awesome fake legal guardian…
I mean the possibilities for humor are endless.

You could tie it into the school even!
Like, say you were applying to Harvard:
Dr. Rich Elitist (joking)
or…
Dr. Admit Me…

I just sent in:

Name: Dr. Thisis A. Horribleaccident
Occupation: Animal breeder.
Relation to me: Imaginary Friend

You’re my hero haha.

LOL. i love this thread.
