Okay heres the run down, I'm a junior right now, and my top choice is Carnegie Mellon, USC, UCSD and then Purdue, UCD, and UCI, UCSB, Harvey Mudd. these are my stats:

MAJOR: Electrical Engineering with Computer Science or Computer Science Engineering

Unweighted gpa: 3.78~3.83
Weighted: 3.82 (My school goes by the college prep. grading system, hence I hate my school)
Sat scores (should be around here by Jan. test): Math:730 CR: 660 W:710
Total SAT Reasoning: 2100
SAT 2s Scores should be above the 700 range. And Im taking the Math IIC, Physics, and Bio M exams.

Course Load: 6 honors and aps together: (h. algebra 2 9th, hon. geo and ap bio 10th; h. precal, ap comp sci, apush 11th; ap econ, ap calc, ap stat 12th) downside I got a C in ap bio 1st semester and a D in second sem. and made it up at a community college. Talked to counselor and he said that the grade which i got in the community college would factor into my unweighted gpa. (will colleges frown upon with this grade?)

Couple of questions: I have been taking pratice exams in the college board, princeton, and barrons books and I have been getting in the 720s to the 750s in the math; 700s in the writing; and 630s in the CR range how accurate can these results be to the real test?

What are my chances at these schools? Pleasseeee dear god let me into CMU!!!

Why did you not take more advanced classes? Chances are you will be competing against people with harder schedules and similar GPA's. If your school dosen't offer more that's one thing...

school doesnt offer more advance courses for math and science courses, it offers more english crap and foreign languages... in 12th grade im also taking honors chem, taking physics right now

If you are getting those scores on practices as a junior, you'll be fine if you keep studying. I know someone who got a 61 math on the PSATs and a 790 on the SATs. It's some studying and some intuition and at least a little luck.
