so first off im a sophomore in high school and im taking chem this year. now its not easy for me and like i do my best but no matter how hard i try my average never goes up. i have a 60 right now in the class. the grades he has for me is a 100 on a homework and 80 on a quiz and a 0 out of 100 on the homework. now i gave him the hw the next day and he said thank you but i don't get it. i talked to him and he was like you didn't do it which i understand. its just the fact that he never gave me at least half while he gave the other kids half (i asked them) and like he makes homework so important and its so stupid like i just hate him like i end up teaching myself chemistry because hes such a horrible teacher. i dont know what to do.

I’ll bump this thread for you

Try asking your teacher for extra help. Once he sees your interest he may cut you some slack and see your dedication to getting your grade up.

Do the homework?

It sounds like you just gave your chemistry teacher the homework assignment with no legit explanation as to why it was late. Try asking him next time why he didn’t give you any credit at all on the assignment - that’s really the only way to know for sure. Make sure you always do the homework if it’s worth that many points.
