I'm taking the SATII's in a little over a month...my goal is ED to Amherst College.

I plan on majoring in English, and staying as far away from math and science as possible.

I signed up to take the Literature, U.S. History, and Math I exams. The admissions office says they only look at two of your tests, so will it look bad if I don't take Math II, seeing as it's not my intended major? I'm in AP Calculus, but math is just not my thing. Should I just suck it up and change the test, or in the grand scheme of things, will it not matter?

Calculus has nothing to do with Math II.
Why take Math I? its harder to get a high score on.

Really? I thought Math II was, because it tested more. Everyone says take Math II if you want the score to be taken seriously. I HATE geometry but am really good at algebra…which test is better?

The the OP…I don’t think they’ll care about a math SAT II if you’re going for English. You’ll have to take at least one math class and one science class in college though. Part of the “core” program most schools have. At least the ones I’ve looked at. That’s pretty much all I’ll be doing too!!
