I hate studying (and I have junioritis)

It is the fourth marking period and I have basically completely shut down. Well, it's not exactly like senioritis because I still do care about my grades, just not as much. I still hand in my homework and study for tests and quizzes, but don't put as much effort into it anymore. I've basically lost all motivation in school even though I'm still getting decent grades and will continue to do so until the end.

Main fact is -- I hate studying. Hate it. And I suck at studying too. I have no clue how I made it to junior year with such awful study skills. This is what I do, I read the book, read online notes and that's it. And yet I still remember it. But studying is so boring, and I can't stand it. The material I learn no longer interests me and I don't feel any obligation to learn school related material anymore.

I just want to finish high school ASAP. It's getting so boring, everything is getting so boring. I can't wait till college when I can finally begin taking courses in topics that interest me, like psychology.

-.-

I feel the same way, although I put a TON of effort in at the beginning of the year. I feel worn out in general. STUPID APS

^Same here. I worked extra hard first semester and part of this semester, but now I just want to be done. Just a little over two weeks!

You don’t have any kind of -itis till you find it nearly impossible to just walk down the damn hall from history to english (which is only 18 footsteps, I count), groaning “arrrgh schoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool” the entire way.

Seriously, it’s what I’ve been doing. It’s the most painful walk ever I swear.

It’s good to see that I’m not the only one who feels the same way.

all i see are lame excuses

Have you considered formulating a dream board?

^That sounds like fun. :)

No one who is not a senior understands what senioritis is. It’s a whole new state of apathy.

Yeah, seriously… I felt the same way that you did last year, OP, and this year as a senior it’s only accelerated and gotten 10000x worse. I wish you the best of luck. At least your junior year is almost over.
