=( i hate the SAT it is WAY too long and ridiculously hard...it doesnt show the truth

Don't listen to any of these people...I have increased my score about 100 cumulative points each time I’ve taken the test. I also agree..the SAT's are way too long and students just get tired of taking them.

ACT's are the way to go. There are 4 longer tests instead of the millions of little 15 minute tests the SAT offers. The ACT is also an "achievement" test as opposed to the SAT's "aptitude" approach. Translated, this means the ACT tests what you know and the SAT "tests" what capacity you have to learn it.

P.S. My ACT score converts to about 100 points higher than my SAT score and I would imagine this is pretty standard. It also helps to take it numerous times.

You got two choices:
1) ACT
2) PRACTICE TESTS!! Practice tests, even once a week for a few months will help significantly. And as stated before, the SAT is a test of endurance. I mean you have to have SOME knowledge, but i mean really.. math section doesnt even pass alg. 2.

Practice tests will help you get comfortable with the format of the test and the concepts they use in order to test you.
