I hate to ask another housing question but..

I'm an international student and I never really got a real tour of the campus. Where's the best place for me to live? I'm from Mexico, terrified of getting around in the snow and a nursing major (if I don't switch to biology). I really wanted to live in the Spanish speaking dorm (casa del sol? sanford hall I think) but looking at a map it looks like its in the middle of nowhere.
Please help me!

I would say that if you want to live in Casa del Sol, then do that. It will take you about 10-15 minutes to walk across the entire length of campus. My friends who studied nursing had most of their nursing prerequisite classes in Moos Tower, the Mall, and in St. Paul, so there is a large range of places that your classes will be.

If you really don’t want to live in Sanford, due to the distance, then I would say you should live in Centennial. There is a large international student population there, and it usually is open during longer breaks, like winter and spring break, unlike most of the other residence halls. It is also quite close to Moos Tower and about the same distance to the Mall as Sanford. It is also a little closer to the bus line to get you to St. Paul.
