I know everyone always asks this question but I am really torn about whether to retake or not....

I think my w and cr will stay around 750 but I would really love to bump that math... Is it worth retaking?

That depends. You scores are good, so it’s not that big of a deal if you don’t retake them.
If you’re a rising senior, I wouldn’t retake, but if you’re younger you might do better in later administrations.

Also do your target schools superscore? That makes a big difference, because then you have nothing to lose by taking it again.

What schools are you applying to?

How many times have you taken it (do your schools accept score choice?)

How much will you (be honest now) study before the next test date?

Is it worth it to you to be worrying this much over 60ish points?

consider these questions, and then we’ll talk.

It all depends on the school you’re applying to ideally. If you’re applying to less competitive schools, leave them but If you’re applying to Ivies and presitge schools, you should retake and try to break 750 for each section (even try to break 780 – but I realize, it takes time to improve scores; it doesn’t happen over night).

I am not applying to selective schools but my class rank is bad so I need to make up for it. Could 50 or 60 points be the difference between acceptance and rejection?

50 or 60 points will NOT be the difference between acceptance and rejection.
