I like this day because I get free stuff.

I don’t think it’s so bad. It’s sweet that people care for each other that much. Sure, it’s become so extremely commercialized that some people don’t even know the origins of the holiday, but I’m the person who always says, “It’s the thought that counts.”

My friends were complaining that there should be no specific day that you should amplify the amount of love you show to your significant other. Sorry, but I don’t think all boyfriends are that spontaneous (us girls would loooove guys to be all romantic and live-in-the-moment, though) to bring you random gifts out of “love and appreciation.” What about Mother’s and Father’s day? Shouldn’t we demonstrate our extreme appreciation for our parents anyways?

Me, I take Valentine’s day as a day to gush about how cute some couples are.

I got free chocolate Hershey’s kisses from some guy. So valentines day sounds good to me. Too bad those were the only kisses I got haha

Spent the day at a children’s hospital doing arts and crafts with children who are hospitalized long term so today was pretty great for me. It’s not always about others showing love to you, but about you showing you care for others.

My Valentine’s day is always boring. It’s just another typical day, except it’s dubbed “Valentine’s Day”

I love it because of all the discounted chocolate you can get afterwards :)

They should rename it Be A Cynical A-hole Day. Seriously, just because you aren’t in a relationship doesn’t mean you have to hate on the holiday… -.-

meh. Even though i’m not too fond of it i don’t really care, i just think it’s really sappy and lame. but maybe i’m just saying that because i didn’t even get any candy.
