<p>I'm really interested in living and going to college in a big city like NYC or CHICAGO, but I"m stuck which one to choose for college. I plan on going for a COMMUNICATIONS degree and I can already speak French and Spanish. Loyola would be a match and NYU would be a reach (but I think I could get in!).</p>
<p>I don't know which I should choose. I don't wanna be stuck in college debt the rest of my life, but when I look at the average indebtedness for both of these colleges they don't seem THAT bad.</p>
<p>So which college would be better ALL AROUND (most prestigious, tuition, job connections, cost of living, crime/safety, campus, college life, etc.)</p>
<p>Please give me advice! What are your opinions?</p>
<p>Tuition-Roughly the same I believe Loyola is slightly cheaper</p>
<p>Job Connections-If you want to stay in NYC then NYU, but if you want Chicago jobs obviously Loyola. Overall NYU would probably offer you more.</p>
<p>Cost of living-I would say Loyola would probably be cheaper...NYC has a higher cost of living than Chi-Town</p>
<p>Safety-I know Loyola for being in Chicago has a pretty safe campus. NYU seems a little sketchier.</p>
<p>College Life-You will get 2 different lifestyles with each. Loyola will give you the Christian helpful to your community feel (but not overwhelming at all with religion), where NYU will give you the more "wilder" less conservative/party experience.</p>
<p>If I had to choose between the two personally, I would pick Loyola. I prefer Chicago to NYU (closer to home and other reasons) but I also like the vibe given off by Loyola. NYU just seems to out there for me. (I'm not a very religious person at all and I do party, but NYU just doesn't fit me.) Remember to choose on what school fits YOU and not pick based on others opinions. </p>
<p>I know some people have troubles deciding like you. but for me, I'd go to NYU no matter what. :D
