I have 4 B's and still have a 3.92

I am predicting that I will get one more B, and my GPA will be lowered to a 3.90 by the end of first semester. Is the prospect of having 5 B's and a 2200+ sat score but me at a disadvantage for Ivy's? In other words, did anyone in this forum get accepted to an ivy with 5 B's?

(Don't worry I have plenty of Extracurriculars)

Just depends on the rigor of your classes.

i will have 8 APs by the end of senior year…

If those B’s were in AP classes then its better than getting B’s in regular/honors classes.

It will put you at a disadvantage, of course. There are thousands of 4.0 UW kids with high SAT scores who get rejected every year.

Better have a hook, nationally outstanding EC, or 2370+ SAT scores.

edit: Specifically I was talking about HYP, Wharton, the upper tier Ivys. With a really outstanding app you could have a chance at the others.

^ I am a urm… although I am kind of hesitant mentioning it, because I would hate to fail college because I got in without merit.
