I have a 2.37 gpa, my life is over

dont try to make me believe otherwise

so depressing

it’s not the end of the world - at least, you are going to learn from your mistakes/accidents, so it won’t happen under more important/detrimental circumstances

I agree with isobell’s post. I had a 0.7 GPA after my fall semester in Freshman year and then finished the year with a 2.0 cumulative. Sophomore year I went to a new school and got my act together and got a 3.56 during th Fall trimester then a 3.4 during the Winter trimester. Anything is possible my friend, and you will learn from your mistakes. No questions asked.

It is not over at all. Trust me, there are people at my school who would kill for a 2.37. You’re ok. Just learn from your mistakes and move on. You can do it!

I had a 2.6 after freshman fall quarter. mostly because of stupid class decisions. i’m doing better now.

You’re right. You suck. Go die.

(If you REALLY didn’t want us to convince you otherwise, why did you post?)

Magneto, I call ******** on that one. A 2.0 (in most institutions) is considered a good academic standing. A 2.37 is barely cutting it.

Maybe if you didn’t try so hard to be a meaningless attention seeker, you could have a higher GPA.

And everyone, please don’t act like I’m being mean or something. Who the hell posts this kind of crap and then asks “dont try to make me believe otherwise” as their topic? It is clearly a pathetic move to fish for attention.

Go kill yourself.

thankyou manhattan, i totally agree

So are you just wasting my time, or are you actually acknowledging that you have an emotional issue that needs to be resolved, because I will choose when (now) and where (CC) to waste my own time, but I won’t have you waste my time for me.

Ur making too much of a big deal out of your college gpa. Not trying to say its completely useless but it’s so important to say your life is over based on it. Hell, high school gpa had more importance. Good high school gpa = better university acceptance and more scholarships opportunities.

In college, it doesn’t matter much unless you are planning on going to something like law, medical school afterward and worrying if you will get accepted. Whether you graduate with a 2.0 or 4.0, you resume will still say you have a degree in X major when u apply for a job. Just make the best out of your college life and try to get some job experience and such. Stop stressing so much abt it

It doesn’t matter unless you’re going to graduate school.

Not true. Ever employer I’ve encountered has inquired about college GPA.

@theprincessbride
You mean 3.0 right? Lol

@Distressed

If your planning on killing yourself do not try to take the school down with you.

good idea…

I flunked out of high school and my first try at college. Now I’m back, baby, and gettings A’s in calculus and physics. Why? Because this time I’m motivated, and I study like my life depended on it.

Manhattan, only YOU can waste your time on an internet forum. Nobody can waste it for you. Your choice, don’t abuse the OP any more than is necessary.

Well, not quite. It is hard to explain. :/

Thanks, now that I have your validation, I feel empowered.

Abuse? A bit strong. I’m just messing around. This is, after all, and internet forum.

… So you think there is a necessary amount of abuse that needs to be dished out?

My brother was way worse off than that. He barely has a 2.0 because of um certain reasons aka a girl. Parents pulled him out and he went to a school closer to here and brought up his gpa to a 3.4
