I am in Boston, eating a bagel and doing recruiting for the company at you-know-where. Next stop Yale, yada yada yada and I'll be at Penn on the 15th. :)

This fantastically worthless post was brought to you by Bruegger’s Bagel Bakery in Cambridge, MA.

Lol. Congratulations.

what no Princeton? Ha ha, congratulations, movin up the ladder pretty quickly! very happy for you!

Will you be recruiting as well or just visiting Penn?

The sad thing is that chain-store bagels are not really that good. I haven’t tried Bruegger’s in awhile, but I don’t remember them as being so much better than Manhattan or any others. It’s not so easy to get great bagels in Philadelphia – one of the downsides of living here (or at least of living off the Main Line – Hymie’s bagels are pretty good, as are New York Bagel Bakery’s in Wynfield.

aww too bad we don’t overlap for recruiting visits, i’ll be at penn for recruiting on the 17th

I want a bagel. But I don’t think we get them here. Except in, like, five-star hotels.

No, we are dropping Princeton this year. While I’m sure Princeton students are smart, they are just too “soft” as a whole to have large enough numbers even considering a job in India. Honestly I think Princeton as a whole is more Wall Street-centric than Penn (Wharton included)

yes bagels, i was noticing the pattern - many Princeton grads that we know are going to Goldman and other wall street firms, and much less to medicine and law. not sure how many for MBAs; seems like the popular choice especially the majority that are majoring in econ or math. Makes sense that P’ton also saw a stagnancy in undergrad applicants this past admissions cycle much like Penn - feeder schools to wall street both hurt similarly. (heard a lot of CAS grads also get jobs on WS)

Enjoy your visit to Penn! (and the bagels of course)

I am doing both as we speak :)

Just got a pepperoni pizza bagel at Einsteins. I too am happy.

I had a free bagel for breakfast this morning, courtesy of work. It made me happy while it lasted.

yo ilovebagels, i’m really happy for you, i’mma let you finish, but croissants are the best baked goods of all time!

I thought the Kanye meme required it to be replacing a white person with a black person. Of course to start venturing into pastries favored by Africans/African-Americans is not something I’m about to do for the sake of not getting banned from CC…

blasphemy!

Fresh croissants are to die for, a little jam…oh la la!

ilovebagels, you were definitely featured at the WAX info session. They showed a picture and were like, “see this guy? He was in WAX, and he came to recruit for an Indian company and…” and I was like, that’s obviously you since you were here recruiting and work in India.

i love bagels!!! omg bagels are awesome lets have a bagel party.

Ilovebagels, I just checked in after a long absence. I’m so glad that you enjoyed your stay. I hope you never leave CC because we love you!! ( Even more than bagels : O )
