Who here has a hard case of transferitis? For those of you who dont know what that is, it's the community college transfer version of senioritis.

for me, Ive been having it since Spring Break... and now it's catching up to me. I have TONS of "semester-long" assignments due this Friday that I pushed off till now, lol. And the problem is it's so hard focusing on homework. I find myself checking facebook, this site, UCLA sports news, and clothing stores at the most random times. Like right now! 20 minutes ago I was making progress on a research paper... FML

With me, it faded after Spring Break. It happens every year for me unfortunately.

I think it’s getting the best of us that we’re getting accepted to some great schools and even our dreams schools…even though we’re not actually there yet.

As krnnoodles said, we have worked our butts off! You got where you are because you worked so hard…don’t let it go down the drain!

Focus! [:

My deadlines are in May. …but that’s not far away either. X__X;;

are you any of you guys really caring about your grades too much? like if you have a 3.8, 3.9, whatever, does you really care if you get straight B’s if you already got accepted to your school? (as long as you maintain your GPA for transfer)
because when you transfer to a UC, you start with a new GPA
so your CCC gpa doesnt really matter

I have to re-write this paper for a Lit. Class and It’s been like… 2 1/2 weeks overdue rofl. ****, don’t know if I should just rewrite it or go to bed.

Computer science: A class that typically has one to three weeks’ worth of studying, and then a test at the end of each period. So far I’ve spent no more than one day studying for each of these tests.

Business law: I’ve been ignoring this class so much that oftentimes I forget I’m enrolled in it. I haven’t open the textbook since around the time Obama was inaugurated president.

Speech: Two absences means an F. Today marks my fourth absence. A shame, considering the last time I showed up to class (about a month ago), my teacher commented on how good of a speaker I was, and he even invited me to a special speech/debate competition (which I declined by not showing up ever again). A real shame, considering I really liked this class (and this teacher).

Calculus: Last week, I hadn’t gone to class in over a month (and I hadn’t opened my textbook for even longer). But one day, I looked at my schedule casually, only to see that I had a midterm that day. So I hurriedly rushed to school and took the midterm, even though I didn’t even have any idea which chapters the class had covered.

And to think, just a few semesters ago, I was a straight-A student. Needless to say, I do, indeed, have Transferitis.

But I’m not really looking forward to the next two years, so I guess it really doesn’t matter anyways.

I have it bad too. for me it also started spring break and now i just cant wait until the semester is over… i need some well deserved rest and relaxation…

Haha I think transferitis is okay, not that big of a deal. I sure as hell have it. We’ve all worked so hard I think we can use a little break and chill a little, it won’t kill us. Just don’t let it get the best of you where your grades really start to slip.

Ah the sweet deliciousness of anticipation. 2 more days.
