So I have a D at in my AP Biology class, but my overall GPA is still above a 3.0. I was told by my teacher that there is no way for me to bring it up to a C, but no way for it to fall to an F. I called admissions office and told me to report it on my admissions page…

A. How do I report this grade?

B. Do you think they will still allow me to go to UCD, its after the May 1 deadline so I don’t really have any other options after this.

Please HELP!

UCD Admissions, if you have any advice on the matter that would be great!

Hey there should be a link under “Admission Status” on your Undergraduate Admissions portal, it says: Reporting Application and Coursework Updates

That’s where you report it. Call them about it too, tell them you are really worried and that you reported it, I had to take a course during the summer and they got back to me the same day and said it was fine.

Don’t take no as an answer from your Biology teacher. It’s an AP class, their main aim is to get you into college, tell her/him that you spoke to UC Davis and that they informed you that your acceptance would be rescinded and that you will write the most tedious 15 page paper if need be to get a C-. Tell him/her you have no other options, beg, plead, cry, etc, pretend like your education depends on it.

Thank you so much for your response! I’m going to go back and talk to my teacher tomorrow morning again and essentially beg for the grade. I figured something like a “my education completely depends on this” plea (which is kinda true) would be worth a try. And, I’ve already begun looking into summer classes at a local CC. Hopefully it will all work out!
