I have a D my senior year

There's a week left in first semester and I'm gonna try my best to get it up, but the odds aren't looking good. The class is AP English Literature and I'm also taking AP Calc BC, AP Gov/AP Econ, and AP Environmental Science, so I have a tough workload. I have a 3.7 overall weighted GPA, and a 3.2 weighted, with a 1910 SAT. I have only applied to UC's and I'm hoping to go to Santa Cruz, but I'll apply elsewhere especially if I can't get that D up. I applied to UCLA, Santa Barbara, Riverside, Irvine, San Diego, and Santa Cruz, so what I'm asking is, what will happen if I don't get that D up? I would hate to get in somewhere and have my application rescinded. From what I understand, they've let people in still with a D, but I'm wondering what I can do to make my chances as great as possible to get in. I understand English is an A-G course, but a D is still considered passing, right? Help is appreciated, thank you!

If you don’t get that English “D” up, that will raise flags, but if you do well on your AP exam it may help. They may rescind your offer. My nephew’s offer at UCSD was rescinded because of a lousy grade in Spanish. He was able to get the grade changed because he had not turned in a bunch of assignments that were in a folder in his locker. He didn’t know he had done that. He was an AVID student so he had a counselor at UCSD who helped him get back in.
