I’d have to say that my application is different from the majority. My grades are pretty low, but I have really good EC’s to back myself up.

I will be applying for sociology or psychology

I’m Asian and i live in upstate NY
SAT - Verbal- 710 Math- 800 Writing- 610
SAT II’s- Nothing special.
GPA- 3.17 Unweighted (I took AP’s and didn’t do too well)
Weighted: 4.17

EC’s: President of the class junior and senior year. I’ve been rowing for four years. NY state crew champion junior year. I’ve played violin for 11 years, and guitar for 5. Over 400 hours of community service.

I have a huge setback though. I took two classes at Cornell Summer College last year, and I got an A in sociology but a C+ in Human development because I was stupid about it.

I will also NOT be applying for financial aid

I’ll be applying ED 2. Can some alum’s or similar students shed some light on my situation? Thanks so much guys.
