I have a dilemma...

For band, I sold some things out of a box (one of many a company sent our school to help fund a trip) and I made almost all the money, but I couldn't hand it in 'til I had sold it all. I eventually sold all but 5 of the items, but never got around to those last 5. my teacher said there wasn't a set-in-stone deadline but this was well over a month ago.

this teacher's nice, and I don't want to lose brownie points by bringing up the issue with her. I still have the money, am safely guarding it.

This has been hanging over me forever now. What should I do?

b.u.m.p. ...

I don't think I understand what the dilemma is.
Just remind her that you still have the money and tell her that you never got to sell the last 5. Why would she get mad if you told her?

month overdue

Keep the cash and hopes she forgets. Treat yourself to a nice present...

Or just tell her the truth. If you can't actually tell her, write a nice note and leave the stuff in her classroom or something...

Me, I'd probably go with option one...

^^ Haha.
I think you should choose option 2, myself. Just spin it so that you look like you're being really honest in not choosing option one (i.e. When I realized I still had the money, I ran here as quickly as I could through sleet and hail to tell you. I'm sorry blah blah blah.) If she's really a nice teacher, she'll either be kind of annoyed and then get over it or say that it's OK.
