I am in community college right now and I am trying to transfer to Georgia Tech. How will this affect my chances of admission?
Also, I would like to know what I could do from this point to show admissions officers that I am a changed person and increase my chances of being admitted.

No way to even guess without a little more information about what exactly “disastrous” includes. Would also be helpful to know how long you’ve been in community college and when the last disastrous issue occurred.
I have no idea, but I would guess that if you don’t have a record and have had no issues for 2 years at CC, then colleges would think you have matured.
If you are at a CC in GA, then the transfer advisor at your CC should be able to help you find out about this.
