I have a feeling my supplemental essays are better than my common app one.

Does that cut down my chances of getting into a college by a lot or wud they still read the full application before thinking about rejecting me?

Unless you’re common app is just patently stupid, then they’ll read your entire application.

no its not very bad .its a ok ok essay which tells a lot about me but is just not perfect .so hopefully they would go over my whole app ( which would definitely create a better impression). thanks for your help!!!

You never know… some colleges may read your supplement before the common app! In any case, they’ll definitely read your entire application. (unless you’re an uncommonly mediocre applicant or something.)

If ur app passes the basic criteria and they get to the essay reading section, they’ll read the whole thing. Unless ur common app essay seems like it was written by a 5 yr old.
For some universities, the supplements actually hold more weight.
