For Reading, I got a 31 in June, but I still need to improve my time efficiency. With the Prose Fiction passage, I tried reading the whole thing and then when I got to the questions, I couldn't remember most of the stuff the questions were asking. With the Natural/Social Science passages it's easier to look at the questions first and EASILY find that pertinent part in the passage, but no so much with prose fiction. I think the main part of Reading is how quickly you can find that pertinent part once you read the question, so is it better to do a comprehensive but quick look(going slowly with your pencil) through the entire passage looking for that one key word, or doing a really quick skim to find that part? I feel like when I read it quickly I didn't get a full grasp, and if I read in chunks, I might miss a key fact for a question I think only requires the 1st paragraph and then the answer can completely change if you read on.

For Science(23), again it depends on the passage, with some passages I went straight into the questions and had an easier time but with others I had to eventually read the passage, if I didn't I was missing key parts. I always try to tell myself that the science questions are extremely easy because they are, you just might not get the question because you don't realize that there's a Table 4 that answers the question and you're looking at Table 3. If you run into a section in which the passage is EXTREMELY long, should you still read it all eventually? The purpose is getting a good score, not understanding the passage, and you don't have to read the entire passage, but eventually how much of a passage will you want to read?
