I have a friend and she needs help:

Paying for College

<p>Guys and gals, I have a friend who has already been accepted into Syracuse University and recieved a scholarship from them. Unfortunately, its a small amount.</p>

<p>She is very intelligent, artistic, and top of her class at our school with a GPA of around 4.0 unweighted and 4.30 or so unweighted. Unfortunately, she is not poor enough to recieve money, and not rich enough to afford Syracuse. She is also not enough of any ethnicity to apply for any of those scholarships.</p>

<p>She has been trying very hard to apply for as many scholarships outside the college as she can but as we all know those are all chance. </p>

<p>As it stands, in order for her to pay for Syracuse she would have to take out large loans (syracuse is approximately 33000 per year with 11000 room and board). </p>

<p>So I need your help to help her.
Please, I desperately need a way to get her enough money or a way to pay or pay off Syracuse tuition.</p>

<p>Please help her.</p>

<p>There's nothing she can do but apply for tons of scholarships....sorry. I think she should have at least applied to a school that was relatively cheaper. I believe that getting a good education is worth getting into debt</p>

<p>Is your friend alone? Does she have parent?</p>

<p>I hope for your friends sake that she has plenty of safeties to fall back on. A good education can be found without going into major debt. Let's hope she has applied to some schools that can offer her such.</p>
