Hello.
I'm having a problem deciding which college to go to, between Tulane, and in state university, the University of Oklahoma. Okay, it should be so obvious; Tulane, right? Well, there're some complications, and different quirks for both. Let's look at Tulane first:

Tulane:
Pros - Better education, a MUCH better gay atmosphere (I'm gay and male), and is in a big city (a personal plus).
Cons - It costs 38k a year, and I would have to score high on the SAT, take 4 AP exams and score well on them, get a hundred+ volunteer hours in and score well on 2 SAT Subject tests to even be considered.

OU:
Pros - all of my friends will be going there, it's only 2 hours away from home, and has a study abroad program to a country where I'd like to study, which Tulane does not. (Sweden) OU also has a foreign language education program, which I'm interested in. I didn't see anything like that at Tulane. I'd only have to do moderately well on the ACT to get in.

Cons - Greek life is a big part of the campus, and I'm not into all that. Also, I'm not all that into college football, and you can't escape the school spirit at OU. It doesn't help that the stadium is on campus as well.

I'm just torn. This keeps me up at night, no joke. I asked a friend why it matters so much to me, and he said, "..you are torn between what you want to do, and what you should do." I suppose I agree with him.

Any advice would be great.
