I have a question about common app.

okay you know how common app has like a little chart for you to list your activities, hours, years and like positions/awards?

well i just filled that out and i didn't send a resume. like some of the stuff i do needs some/a lot of explanation. and i already mailed out the common app.

i didn't think it really mattered too much, but then i saw other ppl's resumes and they had much more room to expand on confusing, complicated or "different" ECs.

i am worried now. should i send out a resume to the school(s) i sent the common app out to? (especially my EA?) or does it not really make a big difference? (like i know putting orchestra down really doesn't need any explanation...but my school orchestra is audition only and the highest of three...and i'm violin section leader, which is audition only and has a bunch of responsibilities. obviously that wouldn't fit on the little chart.)

OMG i did the exact same thing! soo i wanna know what others think as well >.<

BUmmmmp

i think you should defineatly send one in if your ECs are a bit quirky and need explanation. If they are NHS, community service etc..then no.
