I have a question about the Eligibility Index

So let’s say an out of state student has an ACT score lower than minimum eligibility requirements, but an SAT score higher than required, are they still eligible?

CSU’s accept either SAT or ACT. Report and send your SAT instead if your EI is higher. CSU’s superscore so if you took more than 1 SAT, they will take the highest Math and EBRW sections for your EI.

What if I sent an ACT score by accident, and my SAT is higher? Will they take the SAT score?

They will take the highest score from either the SAT or ACT. Did you send the SAT also?

I haven’t taken it yet but I’m hoping it’ll be higher

You should know that most of the CSUs are now impacted so, they admit on a competitive basis. As a result, for popular campuses, you will need better than the 850/3570 threshold published.on the Cal State website.

You should also know that OOS tuition is pretty absurd,

What are your stats and where are you from?
