I'm planning to apply this Fall of 2011, so when I apply do I need minimum of 30 units completed? Cause I'm reading UCSB TAG requirements and it doesn't say anywhere. Or are they expecting me to complete at least 30 units by the end of Fall 2011? Help a brother out for reps.

@lawl,

yes.

Yes and in which question the first one?

Yes, you’re correct. I believe that you need 30 units minimum before you sign the TAG contract with any UC.

(I’m going to be at 50 units when I sign the TAG in September 2011 for Fall 2012 admission. One of my friends will be at 33, and another will be at 55. As long as you’re over 30, you’re good. Take classes in the Summer to meet the deadline if you’re worried.)

^^I’m definitely planning on taking summer courses. However, because of the budget cuts, there are barely any classes in the summer.

However, do any of you guys know how your school assigns which student to register for class first? Like which students have priority for class registration?

at my school they give priority first to veterans/eops and whatever awesome program you’re a part of and then they start with the students with the most units done and the ones with the least done go last.
