Well, i transferred from a private school to another private school my freshman year.
They made me retake the classes i already passed once in the 8th grade.
Alg 1.
Physical science.

I didnt do so good the second time due to slacking and stuff.
but besides that.

If my gpa wasnt good my freshman year.
Does that hurt my chances of getting into like an ivy league school?

Or is soph and jr all they look at and weigh?
Thanks! =/

Ivy league schools are top notch. Elite schools with incredibly competitive admissions. Do the best you can and finish strong.

I have no idea, as I'm a high school freshman right now. But I'll try to make my input useful. Sophomore and junior years are the most important, with the essays and applications. However, colleges also note students with a consistent freshman high acheivement. I'm not very knowledgable in this part, but I hope that if you do EC activities and stand out somehow, you'll get into an Ivy League. Good luck.

Do they ever look for improvement?
I went from like a low gpa lol
to a 3.899 (Highest i could get they dont offer sophmores ap's) Oh i transferred out of that school due to my low gpa and my parents thought they didnt educate right.
they only had 98 students attending their high school all of it.
Ive never done that bad ever.
So, thanks =/
