<p>last year (or this year), the application only asked for five activities, but i'm sure you can find some way of mentioning the rest.</p>
<p>There's a section after your personal essay that asks if there's anything else you want them to know about you. You can probably list more EC's there. (: I didn't have room for all of my Running Start class, so they told me to list them in the "extra" section.</p>
<p>The application now asks you to write about your top 5 EC (clubs, activities, volunteer service, etc.) instead of listing every one of them. They want to see substance in what you've done (i.e. are you doing something you're passionate about?) rather than the quantity of activities. If you do have a lot and want to mention them, I would mention them somewhere in your activities log by saying something like, "While I have been involved in _<strong><em>, _</em></strong><strong>, and _</strong>_" and then go on to explain that activity in detail.</p>
<p>the reason why colleges ask you for extracirricular activities is becausse they want to see how you can commit to specific areas. Dumping out many activities you werent vey involved in defeats that purpose. </p>
<p>So i reccomend just focusing on the ones most important to you, and why they are imoprtant.</p>
