I have a question

For high school sports is softball good enough or should i join another

It's not about "how good" your sport is. The Academy justs wants to see candidates show leadership and excel in areas outside of academics. Also, preparation in the physical fitness department is important

No one sport is really viewed as being better than another. What they want to see is teamwork, leadership, and dedication. Pick one or two sports you really like. If it's just softball, that's great. If there's something else that you want to do, then do that too. Once you decide what sport(s) you'd like to get involved with, stick with them. If you can eventually serve in some type of leadership position a few years down the road, such as team captain, then go for it! Above all, the admissions people want to see that your a team player and that you can dedicate yourself to something and stay with it. And again, as we've mentioned often recently on these boards, only persue a sport because YOU want to, not because it will add one more gold star to your application. And don't forget to have fun it, whether it's softball or underwater basket-weaving, because that's what you'll remember most.

yea seriously... have fun before you get here. Enjoy High School.
