I only have one semester left to study properly 3 different APs(have been procrastinating ...) So to get the most out of it, would you guys recommend buying actual textbooks or just the study guides?

You need to tell us which APs you’re self-studying.

yeah, the answer depends on which exams you’re talking about.

Ok so its
AP French
AP Environmental Sciences
AP Psychology

French - are you taking a class or are you self-studying?
AP Environmental Science - CCers recommend Smarty Guide
AP Psychology - my friend used Barrons and PR and he said that Barrons would had helped him out a lot more than PR. Use two just in case since he got a 5.

Agreed.

Seeing as you’re planning on taking the AP French exam, reading an actual book in French (could be something short and moderately simple, like the first Harry Potter) will prepare you infinitely more than reading a textbook.

As for psychology and apes, as jerrry4445 said, a textbook is not necessary. Just prep books and Smartypant’s Guide to AP Environmental Science should get you a 5 on both exams.

From what I’ve heard so far, use Barron’s for AP Psychology and make flash cards for the terms you need to know/memorize. That will get you a 5.

I use PR for APES.

My friend read the Tintin comics to improve her french.
