My only concern is that I recently got a D on one of fall classes and if they would still let me attend their school or change their decision?
Are you in the local area? And are you a first time freshman or a transfer?
so here’s your first adult choice. You can post here and get the opinions of people that don’t work in CSUN admissions. Maybe they’re right, maybe they’re wrong, and either way they can’t do anything to actually help you if the D is an issue. Or you can contact the school and let them know, see if there’s a problem, and if so find out if there’s a way to work something out like taking summer school. It isn’t like they’ll miss the grade on your final transcript if you don’t say anything (although maybe that’s your hope or what your friends say)
And in fact adcoms usually want to help you, but you need to meet them halfway by getting in touch and giving them a chance. As UC Davis wrote in their alumni magazine
Now it’s your move.
I’m in the local area and I’m a first time freshmen.
Thanks for your help man. Will definitely take your advice
