I have chosen Dartmouth over....

Now that decisions are in, I would be curious to learn of the other schools in the decision set of those who have selected Dartmouth.

Conversely, if you did not chose D, where are you going?

I applied ED to D but Princeton, Williams and Brown (in that order of preference) were on my list.

I chose Dartmouth over Northwestern, Johns Hopkins BME and Wash U. in St. Louis.

Dartmouth over Berkeley, UMich, and a full-ride at Brandeis.

Dartmouth over Harvard and Penn for my son. Considered Yale and Brown too. The environment was a better fit for him at Dartmouth and he went ED. He likes the outdoors environment.

^how can your son have chosen Dartmouth over Harvard, Penn, Yale, Brown if he applied ED? (unless he had been deferred and later admitted)

Dartmouth

Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Rice

What he means is that his son considered applying to all those schools before applying to and getting into Dartmouth ED. The phrasing is disingenuous because it implies that his son got into Harvard, Yale, Brown, Penn, and Dartmouth.

I'll keep a list of the schools Dartmouth bested.
